Stream Flow Rates

The following information is from the United States Geological Survey. A ton of info on water resources can be found here. In addition, there is a plethora is great information on regional geology and other earth science related issues and interesting topics. There are links to the National Weather Service, as well.

Waterwatch: [Editor’s Choice****] This shows a great color-keyed map to quickly see relative flow rates around the country. If you are planning a trip you can quickly tell if the flow levels are high, low or normal. From here you click on your state to get a great overview of current flow conditions relative to normal flows.

Specific Watershed and River Flows: If you are looking for hydrologic stream flow rates for a particular river, use the following links to hit your target state. Enter search terms by county, water basin, or hydrologic unit.
