Rain, Rain, Go Away
It’s only been raining for about a month straight. We’ve had more precipitation this spring than last spring – and last spring was a bummer! Most of Minnesota is saturated with water and it’s pooling everywhere.
Rivers: Nearly all fly fishing is limited to lakes, since all the rivers, large and small are out of the banks and unfishable.
This is really a drag since it happened this way last season where we had to wait until later July to get into some decent water conditions to pursue smallmouth.
We’re going to pray for another drought such as we had starting last July. The only problem is that the drought lasted through the winter and into April of this year.
Wild weather everywhere.
